I play a wide range of music that lean mostly towards Goth and Industrial, Darker Side of Alternative and the bazillion sub categories in that vein, as well as 80s. This station is not confined to only the g/i format, you may hear the occasional Rock, pop, hip-hop, lounge, as well as bands that don't get enough exposure including the hottest unsigned artists!

I try to update daily. I select the oldest 25 songs and compare it to the last 30 day ratings (secret info the broadcaster sees). If the song has a rating over 5.0, the file on my machine is touched so that "the last modified date" is current, and it remains in rotation. If the rating is 5.0 or under it is deleted on the station. Voting for the song in the "last three song" player window by either giving it a thumbs up, thumbs down, adding it to your wish list or selecting the buy button changes the songs rating. Your vote does count. How long a song stays in rotation vary depending on how many songs are currently in rotation and how often I update. It is usually around two weeks to a month before a new songs becomes one of the 25 oldest.

Live365 reaches many listeners, and I push it at the sites and boards I hang out at, so if you want to get your name out there at no cost to you this is a good way to start!
